Peeka for Teams
Eye breaks your whole team will actually take.
Most break reminders get muted within a week because they interrupt at the worst moment. Peeka is a tiny ghost for the Mac that waits until people stop typing, stays out of calls, then dims the screen for 20 seconds. Roll it out to every Mac with your MDM, and see on a private dashboard that the breaks are really happening.
$18 per person per year · Works with Jamf, Intune, Kandji and other MDMs · No accounts to set up
How a team gets started
- Ask for a pilot. Tell us how many people. You get a private setup page with the app, a license profile and your dashboard, usually the same day.
- Roll it out. Push the app and the profile with your MDM. Peeka opens licensed and starts at login, with nothing for anyone to type. No MDM? Send people one link.
- See it working. Your dashboard shows how many Macs are running Peeka, how many breaks were taken, and how many were taken rather than skipped.
What your people get
A break that waits for a good moment.
Peeka lives on the desktop and gets sleepier as a break gets closer, so the break never takes anyone by surprise.
- Waits until you stop typing, so it never cuts anyone off mid-sentence
- Stays out of calls, presentations and screen shares
- Dims the screen for 20 seconds and suggests something far away to look at
- Every few breaks, a nudge to stand up and move
- Naps when people step away, and starts fresh when they're back
- Everyone can name their ghost and pick its colour
For IT
Ten minutes to roll out. Nothing to look after.
A notarized, native Mac app
One universal DMG for Apple silicon and Intel, macOS 14 or later. Written in Swift, signed and notarized by Apple, and light on battery.
License every Mac with one profile
A configuration profile sets the team license as a managed preference (domain app.peeka.mac). Prefer a plain preference file for Jamf or Intune? You get that too.
No accounts, no SSO, no servers
There is nothing for people to sign up for and nothing for you to host. The license is checked on the Mac itself.
Private by design
Peeka never uses the camera, records the screen or reads what anyone types. It asks macOS how long since the last keypress and whether a call is on, and that never leaves the Mac.
Anonymous break counts, on your terms
With stats on, each Mac sends a random ID and two numbers a day: breaks offered and breaks taken. No names or emails. People can see this in Peeka's menu. Prefer nothing at all? We switch it off.
Quiet updates
Updates are signed and delivered inside the app. Your MDM can also deploy new versions like any other app.

FAQ
Questions, answered.
What exactly does the dashboard see?
For each Mac, a random ID created by Peeka, and for each day, how many breaks were offered and how many were taken. That's all. No names, email addresses, apps, websites, keystrokes or screen contents. The dashboard shows totals for the team, not individuals.
Can people see what's sent?
Yes. Peeka's menu shows that it's on a team plan and explains exactly what's shared. Nothing is sent from personal licenses or free trials.
Can we turn the stats off?
Yes. We can issue your license with stats switched off, and then Peeka sends nothing at all.
Will it interrupt meetings or presentations?
No. Peeka waits while the camera or microphone is in use, during full-screen video, presentations and screen sharing, and until people pause typing. Anyone can snooze a break or press Esc to skip it.
Do people need to set anything up?
No. With the profile from your MDM, Peeka opens licensed and starts at login. People can still choose how often breaks come, name their ghost and pick its colour.
What happens when the pilot or license ends?
Peeka tells people the team license has ended and stops starting breaks. Remove it with your MDM whenever you like; it leaves nothing running in the background.
Does it help with workplace rules on screen breaks?
In the UK, the Display Screen Equipment Regulations ask employers to plan screen work so people get breaks or changes of activity. Peeka is an easy way to make those breaks happen, and the dashboard shows they did. It isn't legal advice, and Peeka is about comfort, not treatment.
Windows?
Not yet. Peeka is Mac only today. If Windows is what stands between you and a rollout, tell us in the form with rough numbers. It decides what gets built next.
Can we pay by invoice?
Yes. Teams pay yearly, by card or by invoice, and larger companies can use a purchase order.
Who makes Peeka?
Sameed Ahmad, an independent developer, under Northstep Labs. You'll talk to the person who builds it.
